THE POLITICS & ACTIVISM OF FAMILY LAW REFORM

Avenger Project

In at least two instances, local governments in the United States may have murdered and covered up the deaths of American citizens who were incarcerated as political prisoners as part of child support enforcement. This page is devoted to exposing these crimes and bringing the guilty parties to justice.

We at NCPForce! Avenger Project are vigorously seeking specific information to reopen, at the federal level, investigations into the deaths of the following non-custodial parents:

  • Brian Armstrong - died after a beating by prison guards in Milford, New Hampshire.
  • Wilbur Streett - a victim of Lou Gehrig's disease who may have been denied treatment while in police custody in Middlesex County, New Jersey.

We are also accepting information about any other suspicious deaths of non-custodial parents who were politically imprisoned by our family law system.

Anyone with information about suspicious deaths of non-custodial parents is urged to contact us at:

Brian Armstrong

Date of Incident: January 18th, 2000
Where: Nashua, New Hampshire (Hillsborough County)
Authorities Responsible: New Hampshire Child Support Services; Valley Street Jail.

Brian Armstrong became a political prisoner in January 2000 when he was arrested for child support arrears. Mr. Armstrong suffered from alcoholism and worked at a fast food restaurant. He was allegedly beaten to death by guards at the Valley Street Jail in Nashua, New Hampshire, while state child support officials badgered his family to make a $4000 child support arrears payment.

The morning after his arrest, the New Hampshire Division of Child Support allegedly called Brian's parents, urging them to come get him at the prison. At the same time, the Division hastily reduced its monetary demands to $2,000, then $1,000.

When prison nurses walked Brian out of the prison, theyallegedly told his parents to take him directly to the hospital -- that he would not survive if they took him home.

An inmate at the prison has testified that Brian was killed when prison guards bound him to a chair and kicked him over, causing fatal head trauma. A coroner's report allegedly confirms this fact (this report was once published on the Internet but can no longer be found; anyone with a copy of this report is urged to send NCPForce! a copy at avenger@ncpforce.com). Yet despite this evidence, New Hampshire authorities have failed to make a proper investigation.

Updates:

Bob Burke, the inmate at Valley Streett jail who witnessed Brian's murder, gave an interview about the killing to On Second Thought TV. This multi-part interview can be found at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLUWBwkCrCg

Wilbur Streett

Date of Incident: 2004
Where: Hazlet, New Jersey (Middlesex County)
Authorities Responsible: Judge Fred Keiser (Middlesex County); Middlesex County Child Support & Paternity Program; Hazlet Police Department (New Jersey).

Wilbur Streett

>> PORTRAIT OF GOVERNMENT ABUSE

Wilbur Streett took this picture of himself after police brutally shook him down for child support arrears. They would return not long after to kill him.

Died one day after being released from detention as a political prisoner in the custody of police in Middlesex County, New Jersey, following his arrest for child support arrears in 2004.

Mr. Streett suffered from Lou Gehrig's disease and was physically unable to work. But Judge Fred Keiser Jr. of Middlesex County Superior Court did not care about his condition and ordered excessive child support payments. The official cause of Mr. Streett's death was said to be complications from Lou Gehrig's disease, and New Jersey authorities were happy to leave it at that. But too many questions are left lingering.

Given Mr. Streett's health condition, why did Middlesex County press its demands for payments he could not meet?

Why did his health condition deteriorate so drastically while he was in custody?

Was Mr. Streett denied treatment by police?

Curiously enough, Mr. Streett was investigating the death of Brian Armstrong (see above) and had been using the Internet to collect evidence -- namely videotape, an allegedly incriminating coroner's report, and eyewitness testimony.

Mr. Streett was also the victim of an earlier police beating. The photo above was taken by Mr. Streett himself immediately following this incident as evidence of police misconduct. Obviously, authorities in Middlesex County became so comfortable persecuting a non-custodial parent that they felt they could get away with murder ... and up until now, they have.

Video of Wilbur's Last Days -- watch this shocking video of Wilbur Streett's last days as he lobbies state officials to reform family law policies. This 40-minute documentary was created by On Second Thought, a web-based Libertarian political review hosted and produced by William Wegener.

The video shows a frail and fragile Wilbur Street who can barely walk or talk due to the debilitating effects of his disease. After seeing it, one has to question the sanity of the New Jersey judge and law enforcement officers who ordered Wilbur's final arrest for being unable to pay child support.

Please note, this video file is rather large and takes some time to download. On some browsers it might be necessary to open the video with the "Launch in external browser player" link.

NCPForce! thanks Mr. Wegener for posting this video and alerting us to its presence online.

Feedback from Kimberly Street - NCPForce! has received correspondence from a reader identifying herself as Kimberly Streett, Wilbur Streett's daughter.

"I just stumbled across your page while doing some research for a paper I am writing for school. First off, thanks for taking interest in my father. He was a wonderful man ... I love the bumper sticker idea by the way. Second, my dad was mistreated by the police. He was arrested 3 weeks before he died and was kept in jail for a week... however ..he was given excellent medical attention while in jail. The only thing they did was hurry him down the stairs when they arrested him causing him to fall and cut up his legs.

Why they kept pushing him for money he didn't have is beyond me. But what little money he did have left over always went to me. He was the best dad anyone could ever ask for.

I believe that his health deteriorated so quickly when he got home because it is well known that when you get out of jail you get sick because of the "germ-free" environment there; you are suddenly susceptible to germs when you get home that you are no longer used to. His diaphragm gave out from the ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). I talked to him 10 minutes before he died. Lastly, I believe I have a copy of Brian Armstrong's autopsy report in which it clearly states the manner of death was a homicide. There were tapes of the interviews that my father and I did with everyone involved with the Armstrong case. I am now the only one still alive. Be careful ... if they don't kill you, the stress will."
